WEEKEND GETAWAY
Pick any ‘normal’ suburban neighborhood, dig around a little and you’re sure to discover some not-so-nice things about some of the inhabitants. On this particular morning a local hooligan, who’s one last job away from retirement, prepares to leave the scene of a successful kidnapping when things take a turn; his pregnant girlfriend, and a couple of well-meaning, neighbors show up - one of whom might pose a bigger threat than initially thought. Navigate this treacherous, suffocating terrain, and our born-again ruffian lives the rest of his days as part assistant little league coach, part white-gloved usher at the local Baptist church. However, one slip up and it’s bye-bye freedom and family – or some very dead witnesses. Either way, life deals very few squeaky clean options when some heavy shit is at stake.
