Hello, I’m Garett…
…a creative producer, director, and writer with a passion for both commercial and film storytelling. With over 8 years of experience at Warner Bros Discovery’s in-house sports creative agency, I had the opportunity to craft award-winning narratives for major brands. Now, as a key contributor at Ideas United, a creative studio in Atlanta, I bring my expertise to a broad range of subjects and high-profile clients, delivering compelling visual stories that captivate audiences.
Beyond my commercial work, I’m also an accomplished filmmaker. My drive to tell original, longer-form stories is fueled by a lifelong passion—an aspiration that first ignited 14 years ago and continues to guide my creative journey.
To constantly evolve as a filmmaker, I immerse myself in the work of both seasoned masters and rising stars, expanding my creative toolkit. I also engage in education by taking classes and staying up-to-date on the Atlanta film scene. I attended Georgia State University, where I majored in video production, and recently completed a directing course with the Sundance Institute to ensure I remain at the forefront of the ever-evolving world of filmmaking.
