Little update on the film’s progress on the film festival circuit…
Indie Short Fest, the first film festival we applied to, gave us some huge nods. What a great start! So honored.
Award Winner for Best Crime Film, and we received an Outstanding Achievement Award for Producers.
Award nominated for Best Director, Best Ensemble Cast and Best Screenplay.

AND FINALLY…
After about a year since we wrapped principal photography for the film, we have officially finished the post production process. Finally, the film is ready for viewing, and ready to run the film festival gauntlet.
Like any film, it took a tremendous effort to get to this place, but keeping the fire and coordination going throughout the covid pandemic has been a unique challenge, to say the least.
Personally, I feel very good about the project. I think we accomplished everything that we set out to do, in terms of story, tone, style and overall quality. Our goal was to make something that was, above all, ‘fun’ for the audience and I feel that we did that. I also believe this is a project that everyone who had a hand in help making it can be proud (that doesn’t sound like correct grammar but its 2:43am and I simply won’t look back).
We’ve already gotten some very positive feedback, and actual acceptance letters, from festivals, but I’ll relay those at a later time.

Excerpt from site: WorldFest was founded over 57 years ago as an International Film Society in August, 1961. WorldFest became the third competitive international film festival in North America, following San Francisco and New York. WorldFest is the oldest Independent Film & Video Festival in the World. No awards are given in any category unless the scores from the juries are high enough to place for honors. Overall only 15-20% of the total category entries actually win an award at WorldFest. WorldFest is uniquely the only film festival in North America that is staffed and managed totally by filmmakers. All staff members have active film and video production experience, which gives them a very unique point of reference in relation to the entering filmmakers and their work.
